  • Cost for the Arctic expedition:

    US$16,550

    A deposit of US$1,000 is required at time of booking to hold your spot.

    The balance of US$15,550 is due 180 days prior to the start of the expedition.

  • Included on the sailing trip:

    • 20 nights, 21 days on board the S/Y Sarah W. Vorwerk
    • Accommodation on board including bedding and all meals&beverages
    • Use of all safety and water sports equipment & gore-tex sailing gear
    • All excursions and landings in dinghy
    • All landing fees, passenger fees and port taxes

  • Not Included:

    • Airfare, airport arrival/departure taxes, excess baggage fees and airport transfers
    • Accommodation & meals in Ushuaia before and after the expedition
    • Medical & travel insurance
    • Personal expenses

  • Cancellations

    We must receive written notice of your cancellation, at which time the following are nonrefundable:

    180 days or more before departure: 100% of deposit

    179 to 121 days before departure: 100 % of deposit + 50% of balance

    120 or fewer days before departure: 100% of trip fee

  • Travel Insurance

    We require proof of trip insurance to cover emergency medical care and evacuation for the duration of the antarctic expedition, as well as trip cancellation insurance.
